| Biocydes Pty Ltd was established in December 2006 to develop and commercialise natural and synthesised compounds with wide applications in the antifouling, human pathogens, plant pathogens, animal pathogens and land management industries. Biocydes technology pipeline builds on Western Australia’s unique flora and internationally recognised plant industry R&D capabilities and track record. The Murdoch University-sourced technology was funded and developed to Company formation by the Murdoch Westscheme Enterprise Partnership (MWEP). Biocydes Pty Ltd aims to service identified and well researched global markets where their targeted organism-specific compounds can readily replace existing poorly performing products (eg. Biocydes antifouling compounds deliver superior target-organism performance, environmental impact and economics against CuSO4; the staple active compound of all antifouling paints). Biocydes proprietary technology and “First Mover” status into sizeable well-researched markets lays the foundation for strong product profits and solid company growth. Biocydes is seeking Licensees to take our existing portfolio of natural products to the market, and for industry partners and/or investors to (co)fund the further development of other natural products and our suite of synthesisable compounds. |
